China Yum Char Restaurant at 2 Beach Road, Downtown Auckland is one of the most popular chinese restaurants in Downtown Auckland City.Established in early 2005, the restaurant has been under new management since October 2011.We serve authentic chinese food and specialise in cantonese style cuisine.  Our signature dishes include “Buddha Jump over the Wall” special soup, infamous Peking Duck and many more.The ever popular yum char lunches are served daily from 10.30am seven days a week with a huge selection of dimsum dishes to choose from.We are also the only chinese restaurant to offer yum char in the evening in addition to our extensive a la carte menu. Dinner is served from 5.30pm – 10.00pm.Two private rooms that can seat up to 24 people are available.  Minimum room charges apply.We cater for birthdays, weddings, engagements, office functions and any special occasion you may be celebrating.We also have a huge selection of live seafood such as crayfish, abalone, blue cod etc. to choose from.
